Not too happy with the way this turned out. The 'light' area in the water seems way underexposed. Could I fix it? Yes, but I'm lazy. Also, Photoshop crashed like 4 times during this so I apologize if it looks a bit unfinished and low res. Gyazo helped me save the image, but of course in smaller scale. Yay for Gyazo!
This was a very quick one, though. I'd say, definitely under an hour. Or an hour max. And you can kind of tell that from the messiness of it. Then again, I don't know how to detail stuff.
I am not gifted in the digital arts, so I can't give you any pointers there...but I will say the more you do something the better you get at it. To me, it looks like you are already very talented, and I like the way this piece fades to light very interesting.
Now looking at it, I feel like there are too many horizontal lines, though. My main concerns right now are perspective, lighting and building up my visual library. I can easily lay down decent-looking things, but this is pretty much all I can think of; rocks, water and mountains.
